NURIT EFTPOS

Our NURIT 8210 EFTPOS solution features multi-merchant, configurable receipt logos, cheque authorisation, online help, credit cards, and the ability to load other applications such as Ezi-Pay or Loyalty systems on the same terminal. The application software is a robust implementation of the Paymark 5.1 specification and is fully EMV compliant and chip card ready.

MiniLink is an additional module for Perception EFTPOS terminals that enables one-way interfaced operation. By using a MiniLink (serial) cable to connect the terminal to a POS system (such as a cash register, or a PC-based POS), sales details can be sent from the POS to automatically trigger an EFTPOS transaction in the terminal.
MiniLink allows the terminal to operate as a customer display and swipe device, with minimal merchant intervention.

MiniPOS is a terminal application that allows an EFTPOS terminal to also act as a simple integrated point of sale system, while still being able to be used for normal EFTPOS functions. The point-of-sale and EFTPOS functions are fully integrated, i.e. if EFTPOS is selected as the POS tender method, this automatically triggers a purchase transaction using the co-resident EFTPOS application in the terminal.

CODIX Host Systems

CODIX Transaction Engine is a powerful and sophisticated transaction processing engine, that can be readily configured to handle and process virtually any electronic transaction format. Transactions can be processed and stored, authorised, or forwarded on to another upstream host for authorisation or processing.

CODIX is designed for the Sun hardware platform, which provides a high level of reliability, scalability and flexibility, whilst eliminating the high costs inherent in traditional systems. Sun hardware is cost effective, widely used, ultra reliable and well supported.

A CODIX engine can also be configured to accept and process many types of transactions from a multi-acquirer EFTPOS terminal. The merchant's standard EFTPOS terminal can be used to recharge phone cards, record loyalty points, pay a bill, or any other application that requires instant authorisation at the Point of Sale.

Communication products

Perception is a distributor of the Netcom and WanWare range of X.25 and Frame Relay router / gateway products. We have developed several unique solutions, including an X.25 to IP Gateway (XRouter) which converts X.25 messages into IP frames and vice versa.

Xrouter allows connection of a local network segment to the X.25 (PacNet) service for transaction processing purposes. This unique device is able to transport X.25 packet data over IP to a transaction processing host. This is the exact converse of most X.25-to-IP products, which use X.25 to bridge two network segments by passing IP traffic over X.25.
