MiniLink

MiniLink provides a simple one-way interface from a point-of-sale system (POS) such as a cash register, or PC POS system. By using a MiniLink cable to connect the MiniLink EFTPOS terminal to an appropriate POS system, sale details can be sent from the POS to automatically trigger an EFTPOS transaction in the terminal.

MiniLink can operate in two modes:

• Customer Mode -- the terminal serves as a customer display and PIN entry unit only. Optionally with card swipe.
• Merchant Mode -- the terminal normally faces the Merchant, who will swipe the customer's card and may want to use other terminal functions, and will swivel the terminal to face the customer for account selection and PIN entry.
